Testosterone & hormone optimization
Precision men's health.
Gray, Maine.
Every man who comes here gets an exam, a comprehensive panel, and a plan built around what we actually find. Nothing off a shelf.
What men tell us
A drop in sex drive.
Fatigue that doesn't lift with rest.
Weight that won't move despite consistent effort.
Body fat that stays put even when the diet is clean.
Most are in their forties and already doing the work — training regularly, eating carefully — without seeing it reflected in how they feel.
The sentence we hear most
“Your testosterone is normal.”
Most men who come to us were told exactly that.
We have normal ranges for men by age and they are much narrower than what is typically followed. But testosterone is person-dependent. One man feels fine at a total T of 400–500. Another man is symptomatic at the same number and needs to be higher.
Numbers matter. Treatment is not based on numbers alone. It's based on your symptoms, and on whether the foundations underneath them are already handled.
Where we start
How we sequence.
Every patient starts by laying the groundwork. Spinal health, sleep, diet and gut health, baseline labs, a real weightlifting routine.
There are no protocol doses here. Everything is built per patient, with labs as the primary tool directing treatment.
Initial exam — 60 minutes
Who you are, where you're coming from, where you're at right now, and what you actually want to accomplish. We start laying out a plan.
Comprehensive bloodwork
A full panel for every new patient, not a testosterone check. Sex hormones are only one part of what we look at. The results dictate the details of the plan, not the other way around.
Treatment, conservatively
For men, testosterone is usually a subcutaneous injection you give yourself at home. Dose is set for you, not from a chart.
Dial it in
Labs about four weeks after starting, again at four to eight weeks, then around three months. More if we're still finding your sweet spot.
When you'll notice
Two weeks for some.
Four to six for most.
Some men notice something inside two weeks. Realistically, four to six weeks is when most men start to feel significantly different.
Who this is not for
- Anyone looking for a quick fix.
- Anyone unwilling to change how they eat.
- Anyone unwilling to get in the gym.
Start with the exam and the labs.
Everything else follows from what we find. If testosterone isn't what you need, we'll tell you that too.
