Shanna Hudgin, DACOM

Acupuncture creates a state of homeostasis & balance promote proper function so you can feel your best

Dr. Shanna's Philosophy
Dr. Shanna, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM),  uses an individualistic approach to figure out what mechanisms are impeding your body from doing its job well and causing constraint in your system. That means, she takes time to learn where your body has been, where it is now, and where we want it to go. Once that is understood, a specific treatment protocol and treatment plan is curated just for you.

Our bodies spend a lot of time in stress mode (fight or flight, sympathetic nervous system) - combating the stress of today's, busy, fast paced, depleted, hard working lifestyle. Overtime, this stress puts a huge strain on our system and can cause problems in our gut, mind, sleep, skin, menstrual cycle, or create a recurring pain problems. These problems are RED FLAGS - the signal to your body that something  is wearing down and needs to be tended to in order to recover and function.

Dr. Shanna uses acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine to create a plan of action to help get your body to a better quality state.

Acupuncture is used to resolve both acute and chronic problems. It is also used as a preventative health maintenance tool to give your nervous system a dose of parasympathetic (rest and digest) mode.
